How do I use Bio-Kult Advanced? Our capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled onto food, mixed with a drink or swallowed whole. Dont probiotics need to be kept in the fridge? As with all Bio-Kult products, there is no need to refrigerate and they can be stored at room temperature. This is in thanks to our unique freeze-drying process where the probiotics in the Bio-Kult range are encapsulated during the freeze drying (lyophilisation) process, which may aid protection from the harsh acid environment of the stomach. Wont the stomach acid kill all the bacteria off before they can start working? All our Bio-Kult products are proven to survive the high acidity of stomach acid. Directions for use : Take 1-2 capsules once or twice daily with food. If you are taking antibiotics: Take 4 capsules daily, ideally at a different time of day from the antibiotics. Continue taking for at least 2 weeks after completion of the antibiotic course. For travellers: 1 week before travel follow guidelines for general use. During travel take 4 capsules daily. Continue to take for at least 1 week following the end of travel. Children under 12: Take half the adult dose.
